A: I bought several kits. The baluster come with screws and a plastic washer. You get to supply the screw driver and effort. I believe that the screws have a square instead of a slot or phillips. Looked great when I finished.

A: Yes. The screws match but I purchased a box of screws at my local HD. The screws that come with the rails are easily broken and there are no extra screws sent with your purchase.

A: These form a beautiful deck rail system! They do indeed come with painted to match mounting screws. When installing, some of the paint inside the square drive can be chipped but the marks are hard to see from more than a few feet away.

Q:How far apart are you placing the balusters? Just wondering how many to buy for each 8ft. section? I presume one pack of 14 covers an 8 ft. section? Is this safe for young children at that distance, which is about 7 inches apart?
