A:  Thank you for your interest, the shower arm is attached to the wall and comes out 14 5/8" the curve down is 2 3/8".

A:  This type of shower arm is to accommodate a rain style head to shoot the water straight down, but does not lower it.

A:  This product will allow you to place the shower head away from the wall.

A:  Please kindly note, connection size is 1/2 inch -14NPT

A:  The fitting on both ends is 12".

A:  The fitting on both end is 12".

A:  Nipple ends are threaded 1/2" npt

A:  It has nice "heft" and well-cut threads. I have a rainshower head attached and it supports the weight of that just fine. I haven't owned it long enough to know how the finish will stand up over time, but in terms of construction, it's not flimsy at all.
