A:  Hi Woody, Thank you for your inquiry. Danby DAR044A4BDD is a compact fridge with interior height of approximately 28.90 inches. It can only be use as a standalone fridge not a Kegerator as we do not have the parts available needed to convert it. We do not recommend drilling a hole as it may damaged the lines inside the unit and will also void the Warranty. Thank you. Regards, Jerlyn

A:  There is no freezer compartment on this model. I cannot speak to a minimum room temperature.

A:  Hi there, yes, can definitely confirm that there is no freezer. Not sure about the minimum room temp. Probably need to consult manufacturer for those details. Per hubby, this is the best addition we made to the appliance family in our house. There is so much room in this fridge plus it keeps all the beer nice & cold. He likes the bomber size bottles which fit in there just fine.

A:  The temperature control dial is at the very top just inside the door. The further away from the zero, the colder it gets. If you want an actual temperature number, you will need to keep a thermometer in the fridge.

A:  In the inside, top of the fridge, just forward of the light is a small dial for temperature adjustment. Turn it towards darker blue for colder.

A:  I keep the fridge in my Man cave/work shop. Depending on the season and what I am using the mini fridge for, I wish to utilize different temperature settings. In gardening season I keep garden vegetables in there. I dont want them anywhere near freezing as it ruins the veggie for canning. I bought an inexpensive refrigerator thermometer that hangs from a shelf. It has a green zone especially for refrigerators. I adjust the temp dial in the refrigerator until the thermometer reaches the top of the green zone on the thermometer. This is cold enough for keeping vegtables fresh, but well above freezing. Hunting season when I have a batch of jerky or salami curing I again use the thermometer and the fridge adjustment dial to keep the temp in the middle of the green zone. A bit colder, but still above freezing. The rest of the year I use the fridge for pop and other beverages. These taste better very cold. I once again use the hanging thermometer and the fridge dial to set it actually a hair below the green zone. This is around the freezing level. Not cold enough to freeze beverages, but close enough to make them quite good. The fridge has a easy to use adjustment dial and holds the level you set it at. It just takes some experimentation or as I did, a refrigerator thermometer. It is a good fridge and is perfect for my seasonal needs. For some strange reason my wife does not like me continually readjusting the temp levels in our big fridge.

A:  The temperature control is inside at the top middle of frig. You may have to bend down to see it.

A:  Hello Peter, The temperature dial has a thick area which is the coldest setting and a light and thin side which will be the warmest.

A:  The door is reversible.

A:  Per the manufacturer 34-50 degrees. Mine almost never gets to 40 degrees or below at maximum. FDA recommends that the temperature stays below 40 degrees in a refrigerator. I would not recommend as the manufacturer does not believe this is a defect. They will not fix it. Unfortunately my work bought it from somewhere where they will not take a return because it is within manufacturers specs.

A:  Depends upon where you set the thermostat. I keep mine around 37(F) - I use a thermometer to monitor the temp. It will freeze if you let it.

A:  Hello Dave, the minimum temperature for this model is 32.8F.

A:  The unit does not have a numerical readout on the temperature dial but reports of 33-34 degrees have been made.
