A:  Hello Sally, Sanded and non sanded grout will depend on the size of grout line or type of tile. Based upon this tile, if you are putting it on the floor, Sanded grout is recommended. If you are butt jointing the tile on a wall, nonsanded is recommended. Good luck on your project!

A:  Sanded grout is best for floor tile as it works best for the larger grout lines in floors. Unsanded is usually used for decorative tile because sanded can cause the surface to get minor scrapes.
