Q:Finished a project with 9x12 in. tile using 2x6 in. bullnose. Worked out well. Starting a new bath remodel using the 9x12 in. tile and 3x12 in. bullnose. The bullnose appears to be only 11 5/8 in. instead of the advertised 12 in. This does not match up with the 9x12 in. tile. Any suggestions?

A:  We had our tile expert stagger them instead trying to line them up perfectly. It actually looks a little nicer this way

    A:  We have the same problem right now. Aggravating. Sure you can stagger them but it will still be uneven unless you slap a ton of grout between the bullnose pieces.

      A:  I live 60 miles from the nearest Homedepot, therefore I can't chance whatever I want will be in stock. Solution, is to order online and have it delivered to the store with free shipping and notification by email when it can be picked up. For what it's worth.

        A:  I ordered the Briton bone tiles online, and the finishing bullnose tiles also ( and a glass shower door too). When my store had them ready for pickup they emailed me and my installer. Worked out really well.

          A:  Then when you find it online, BUY it online. Then when you go to the store to pick it up you can examine it for texture and color and reject it if you don't like it.

                      A:  This size is bullnose which has a rounded edge for the end of walls or as casing where the wall and floor meet. The 12×12 size can be used both for wall and floor.
