A: I assume you are trying to figure where your flowers will cascade from? My chains are 23 inches long, but the top of the planter to the bracket it hangs from is 22 inches. Remember, they splay/slant out a bit, so hang shorter than chain length. I bought this last year. Hope they haven't changed.

A: Yes, that type of planter is made for the water to stay. Leaving the plastic would have the roots standing in water.

A: I don't think so. It is not all that solid/waterproof. I've had other hangers that had "coco mat" liners. They dried out too quickly. We have had 3 days of rain & the plants aren't floating. Just my opinion.

A: No. Water will flow thru it. Never saw my plants floating. The wicker is very open & you would loose a lot of soil.
