Answer This Question
A: Wrapping the tubing around the trees help with spacing out the emitters to cover a larger area of the root zone, as for size of tubing I would recommend using .600 ID X .700 OD poly drip tubing. A: Sort of a too close to call answer here, but just go with the 1/2 if you have doubt. Unless you're having pressure issues, then you'll need the smaller one.

A: For the supply line from your hose bib (outdoor faucet) or garden hose I would recommend using ½” poly drip tubing. For in your vegetable garden if your rows are no longer than 22 ft. I would recommend using our SHB 109 ¼” dripline. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact our technical service/product support team at 1-800-322-9146 or tech@digcorp.com.

A: Use the 1/2" tube as the main water feeders for each row of the garden. Then tap the 1/2" feeder tubes with the 1/4" tubes with drippers that go to the individual plants.

Answer This Question
A: The best way to help straighten out coiled poly drip tubing or dripline is leaving the roll of tubing in direct sunlight for an hour or two. This will heat up the tubing and allow you to uncoil the tubing much easier. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact our technical service/product support team at 1-800-322-9146 or tech@digcorp.com.

A: Unwind the section of pipe you need. Set a rock or scrap lumber on the coil and pull out the section you want straightened (place a rock or wood on the end) and let it sit in the sun for 20 to 30 minutes.
