Answer This Question
A: While you can probably do it, I would recommend a blade with more teeth. It would be better to use a blade designed for laminates and fine finish cutting.

A: I would not consider this blade for plastics. It's a framing blade.

A: Not for this blade. It may not be safe. You need to score plexiglass to cut it properly.

A: You would probably be better off using a blade with finer teeth but, that blade will cut plexiglass. It may create a rough edge though compared to a blade with small teeth.

A: It is almost 1/16" (.059") This thin and only 7-1/4" it does not tax tax your table saw. And at $20 it is a great blade to have around. The thin kerf also keeps waste low. If a am ripping 1/4" strip from a 4" wide board , I get get 10 with an 1/8" kerf blade. or 13 with this blade.

A: It is just about 1/8" could be a hair under I haven't measured but definitely not more than an 1/8"
by|May 14, 2020
A: It is actually 3/32". The saw blade blank is 1/16" and the carbide tips that are brazed on are 3/32" wide, so the total width of the saw kerf is 3/32" + or - a hair. A traditional saw blade blank that you will find on a table saw is about 3/32" and the carbide tips are 1/8" wide. That may be where you will find some confusion.

A: I did not measure the wood removed. But, I would estimate that it was approximately 1/16. The blade is very thin and the cut was small.
