A:  Because of line testing, there may be a certain amount of oil still in the unit, so you may not need the full oil packet. The best way to check if you have a proper oil level in your engine is to use the engine oil fill cap/dipstick. Place the clean dipstick into the filler neck, and then remove the dipstick to check the oil level. The oil should be between the lower (L) and upper (H) limit, but please be sure to check your engine owner’s manual to confirm the correct amount of oil for your engine. We hope this helps!
