          A:  The Dw5572 Bit should work fine for this type of application as it drills 1/4 in. holes in ceramic/porcelain tile and glass.

              A:  No, this bit will not drill into granite. It is made for ceramic/porcelain tile and glass.

                  A:  We have not tested the 1/4 in. Diamond Drill Bit with terracotta. It is typically used for tile.

                    A:  Since glass and tile are very sensitive, we recommend using a variable speed drill on the slowest speed possible. A lubricant such as mineral spirits or turpentine should be used to help keep the bit cool. Additionally, tempered glass cannot be drilled with glass/tile bits.
