A: These nails are 34 degree, DA nails. If that is what is spec'd for your nailer, then they should work. If FN nails spec'd, then no, they won't.

Q:Just bought my first nail gun, the DeWalt DWFP72155 - 15 Gauge Precision Point "DA" Style Angle Finish Nailer. The manual says it has a 34 degree angle magazine. Am I correct that I will need to get the same angle nails?

A: I have the DeWalt DWFP72155 as well. It is a great nail gun and works well with the Dewalt nails. I have also used it with the Hitachi nails as well. Don't worry to much about the angle. Just make sure the nails are 15 gauge DA. Dewalt makes nails that fit the nail gun in both coated and galvanized. Home Depot carries them, See list below:
Dewalt DCA15200-2 - 2 inch, 2,500 nails (coated)
Dewalt DCA15250-2 - 2-1/2 inch, 2,500 nails (coated)
Dewalt DCA15200G-2 - 2 inch, 2,500 nails (galvanized)

A: no they will fall after awhile you will need the round head or clip nails...prefer round head for fence nail since the lumber is soft
