Q:Will this blade cut through 1/2 inch rebar? I purchased a bolt cutter, but it didn't even make a dent in the rebar. I don't want to purchase a power saw.

A: I don't have experience with 1/2" rebar but I do have experience with Sch 20 steel fence posts. I had to cut some posts to shorten them because I had run into some rock I could not break. It took me 50 minutes a piece to cut through two of these steel posts. It was serious work. I believe these blades could cut through 1/2" rebar IF you have enough "elbow grease" available.

A: Could take some time and sweat but it ought to cut it. It's a 2-pack so if the first one wears out you can swap and keep cutting.

A: Sure, it will take a while, depending on how many you need to cut, an abrasive saw would be quicken and a cold saw even cleaner and faster.
