              Answer This Question

A:  Thank you for your interest in Danco products and your inquiry. Our Danco, 88926, 2-7/8 in. Tub/Shower Strainer for Gerber, would be installed by removing the screw from your existing grid drain strainer. Then you would remove the existing grid drain strainer. Insert the new grid strainer. Then tighten the new screw to secure the new grid strainer to the bath drain shoe.

A:  It simply screws in to place, the tub drain hole has a threaded hole in the bracket beneath the cover plate.

A:  It couldn’t be easier. You screw it in. If there is an existing one you unscrew that one and then screw this one in.

A:  In your bath tub there should be a strainer that is about an inch deep, this strainer fits over it and the screw goes right into the basket. I installed mine in about a minute and it looks much nicer plus it makes it easier for cleaning.

                    by|Jan 15, 2019

A:  Just screw it in. Very simple.
