A:  Thank you for inquiring about a Danco product. The blue plastic tank lever in chrome #88364 will only work on the Mansfield water-saving flush valves such as the #208 & #209 models.

A:  I was able to modify the arm by warming the plastic and reshaping it to fit the opening on the head of the flapper. It worked for awhile and then broke because it was not the right arm for the Mansfield. I was able to get a metal arm that works but is not a smooth operation. l usually am a do it yourselfer but this is out of my league. Best to get a whole new assembly.

A:  This lever will work with flush valves 208 and 209.

A:  Thank you for your inquiry. The 162 is the model number for the tank. What you need to be concerned with is the model of the flush valve. This will work with the older 208 and 209 flush valves. If you have a 210 or 211 flush valve, you'll need Danco #80371 http://www.homedepot.com/p/DANCO-10-in-Toilet-Handle-for-Mansfield-in-Chrome-80371/204485143. The newer flush valves use a lever arm that is metal, and has a bend in it, as opposed to the straight plastic lever arm seen on this model.
