      Q:Is there supposed to be a layer of grease on this puller. The one I bought has some sort of greasy film on it that turned dark after rubbing around is the packaging for a while.

        Q:Does this ruin the cartridge? I only need to rotate mine 180 degrees.

        A:  Nope, doesn’t damage the cartridge & just allows you to rotate it out.

          A:  No, the cartridge will be fine. I’ve used it to replace my old Moen brand cartridge for a new one and it was just fine.
