Questions and Answers for DANCO 9H-1H/C Hot & Cold Stem for Price Pfister Faucets

A:  No need to reverse the stems, they're good for both hot/cold. In contrast, cartridges are reversible just be careful not to damage the plastic reversible lock, they can sometimes be on too tight.

A:  These are hot/cold stems and can be used on either side, if you need a reversible stem then you need to get a cartridge stem (they are also hot/cold).

A:  The best way to find if this is truly the correct item for replacement is to go into your local Home Depot Plumbing section look for a book with all listings for valve stems. Please remember to bring the old part with you. A sales associate will be glad to assist you in using their in store handy book on valve stem replacements.

A:  I honestly do not know about part number #910-013 in particular, a lot of these older Price Pfister products are hard to get now-a-days (Price Pfister has been bought, they are now known as Pfister Faucets). I found out the hard way, I ordered a pair of these stems and had to exchange them, what I really needed was a cartridge and not a stem so I got a pair (cartridges are reversible just make sure that you're careful as the plastic lock can be easily damaged if it's on too tight.). The Danco replacement part may look slightly different than the original Price Pfister part, also the cartridges and stems look similar to each other so it's good If you can remove the old ones that way you can compare them to the online pictures, that way you can be sure.
