Answer This Question

A:  No clue. Sorry. I just used the one that was in the handle. To get a matching one I would remove the top handle from the valve on either side of the sink and then use the thread count and pitch matching devices in the bolt aisle.

A:  These are designed for use with hot or cold water. To properly align the handle for left or right side of the sink, simply slide off the snap ring and reposition the locking ring by rotating it one quarter. Slide the locking ring back on.

A:  There is a "C" clip on the stem that needs to be removed, and a machined stop removed, flipped over, and reinstalled, followed by the "C" clip. Note that you may have to turn the stem slightly to reinsert the machined stop.

A:  Not really sure as I used it as replacement part for bathroom faucet. The people at the Price Pfister 800# are very helpful, they were able to answer my installation question with ease and precision. You can google the number, hope this helps.

A:  Thank you for contacting Danco. Product #09330 is a faucet stem for a Price Pfister faucet and has nothing to do with a dishwasher connection. The answer to this will be no a stem is not going to connect to a dishwasher.

A:  Hi, I honestly do not know. The safest thing to do is shut the water off and then remove this piece (it is easy and simple - after you shut the water off at main or under the sink remove the handle by removing the screw and then unscrew this piece from the base) and take it to a local Home Depot. Ask for help in the plumbing department. They are helpful in matching your part. There is also a book in that area that will actually allow you to match the part. By the way, usually same piece is used for hot or cold water. To adjust the rotation of the handle, you will need to carefully slide out the clip at the top of the handle and then lift and reposition the small part under the clip 1/4 turn or so snd slide the clip to secure it in place. It is hard to explain here but you can aslo visit their website for help. If you do not have a teflon tape for the threads this will be a good time to get one. Hope this is helpful.

A:  Thank you for choosing Danco parts. Unscrew the old stem, clean the valve body with a cleaner formulated to remove mineral buildup, and then screw the new stem in. If you need for this to turn the opposite direction (on the cold side), remove the retainer clip, lift up the handle stop beneath it, flip it over, slide it back down and then clip it back in.

A:  Yes, you just flip over the retaining ring.

                by|May 4, 2023

A:  Yes and no. The way this is supposed to work is that you unclip the e-ring from the top of the stem, flip the aluminum stop-ring over and replace the e-ring. In fact, the stem won't work right on the cold side. It doesn't turn all the way on when fully open, runs water when fully closed (because you're able to turn it past fully off). I finally rebuilt the old cold stem with the ceramic, rubber and nylon/delrin parts from the new stem. Works fine. A stem rebuild kit would've been cheaper, though.

A:  Yes. Remove the retaining clip (small flathead screwdriver will do it), then lift the insert ring. Flip it over and rotate it about 180 degrees. Note that it has one side that is keyed in the inner portion of the ring to fit the shaft. Place the ring back into place, then re-insert the clip to keep it retained.

A:  Yes. Remove the E-clip near the top, remove the valve core, rotate 180 degrees, and re-insert the core.

A:  Hi David, To reverse the direction this stem turns: 1. Remove the retainer clip from the top of the stem, 2. Lift the handle stop up and off of the stem, making note of where the larger “tooth” is on the stop. 3. Flip the stop over, realign the large tooth with the large gap in the stem and replace. 4. Replace the retainer clip. Best regards, Danco Support

A:  Yes! I'd add to the Danco Support answer: Install the valve, turn the water on, turn the faucet off. Then pull the handle, the clip, and reverse the piece as directed, without disturbing the valve (don't move it from "off") Reassemble. Done! Hey, Danco: It would have saved me some heartburn and time if Danco would have blown another penny and printed the reversal instructions on the little sheet that came with the valve. Still very happy, since a local plumber was in the $175 range to replace two valves. Good ol' Home Depot and the internet search let me out for $30. A:  Yes. Turn water off. Take the handle out. You will see a metal or plastic clip that you will need to slide out. Then lift the limiter by sliding on the stem, rotate it with stem and limiter together and slide back on the stem on the other side of where it was before.

A:  Yes - remove c clamp from stem, pull off ring under clamp and turn it over. the ring comes off easily and slides back on easily. If it does not go back on easily, turn it a different way until it goes on easily. If you force it, it will not work properly. reinstall c clamp and install cartridge along the supplied plastic ring over the end of the cartridge.
