A:  No, these do not bend and are made of natural fibers that should not be submersed in water.

A:  Use this doormat in a sheltered area such as a covered porch. Do not expose to direct sunlight or excessive moisture. Some color transfer may occur onto natural stone, concrete, or other surfaces if the mat is excessively exposed to the elements.

A:  During the first few weeks, it is normal for this door mat to shed fibers. An occasional brushing or a good shake will help maintain its best appearance.

A:  I believe the difference is just in color. The black brush is the black frame.

A:  Nothing. Color is natural coir color. Mats are hand made so it's a natural color.

A:  The mat is really thick, approximately 1". I returned it, because it was so thick. I do not know how to clean it.

A:  At least 1 1/2 inches, thick and heavy. I turn it upside down and shake it out, dry it out upside down in sun if it gets slightly wet from rain. There is a roof over it so it's not totally exposed, cannot answer to that.

A:  I’m not sure how you’re supposed to clean it, but it’s a tiny bit over an inch thick. Very substantial and nice!

A:  This mat is 1.5" high and cleans with a vacuum cleaner. It is a great height to give my dogs a boost over the step up going back in the house.
