A: I had to use different screws with a wooden spacer on mine because of distance.

A: Although these terms are used interchangeably, lags should technically be referred to as a screw and not as a bolt. A bolt is a fastener with a machine thread that can accept a nut. A bolt is properly assembled and tightened by rotating the nut. ... Lag screws are almost always used in wood applications.

A: It pulls up so it is parallel with the hot tub and then you can slide the hot tub cover into it. It makes for ease of lifting the cover up and down. The you just push the cover out of it onto the tub and cover it back up.

A: Pull the arms of it (they look like hooks) away and up from the side of the spa. It should resist because it’s hydraulic so be careful as it comes up on the spring. Now open the cover to fold it in half only. Walk back over to the hydraulic arm and pull the folded cover toward you into the forks (the arms). Once you pull the folded cover into the forks, guide the hydraulic arms back down. Tip it so the cover is sitting in the cradle and now held in the cradle on the side of the spa. Go in reverse order to put the spa cover back on. Idk what order the photos will load in.

A: No, no screws. It slides underneath the spa. It depends on the measurements of your spa where the cover would rest. Call the manufacturer, they are very helpful.
