A:  well it just needs a regular old jack in the wall. has no caller ID but could add a separate caller ID unit (if you can buy them anymore) and of course it is compatible with call waiting, speed dialing and three way if your telephone service has those features. I like to be able to dial and have the receiver to my ear so I can hear the instructions.

A:  Works with Spectrum/Time Warner Voice (i.e., VOIP). No caller ID. If you are going to use the Spectrum voice mail, get the model with a message ligth.

A:  I only use it in the office --but it rings loud and I like the phone

            by|May 3, 2023

A:  Yes quite loudly. It's that traditional metallic bell ring. If you need something that catches attention over machinery noise though you might consider installing a mini strobe light that activates when the phone rings. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Viking-LED-Strobe-Light-Kit-VK-BLK-4/204398557

A:  Not out of the box. Putting a small cooling rack (so there's a half inch of empty space) under it helps a lot.
