Q:Am i supposed to backfill the hole left after weed is pulled out of the ground?

Answer This Question

A:  The hole is trivial. Smaller than the holes if you were aerating your lawn. So, no follow up action needed.

A:  I love it. If you need to go deeper, do it again in the same hole.

A:  Weed pullers are ideal for single root weeds. They can pull deep on a dandelion. But crabgrass with a network of roots, it is not ideal.

          Answer This Question

A:  Good question Roberto. I wish someone would answer.. it sounds like the Weedslayer tool gets more slayed by weeds than the other way around. :-D I want to know about the 2-prong weeder pictured and in the description.

A:  I think the marketing people at Corona can't make up their minds about the name. It was also called the "weed destroyer" on the boxes up above at HD. But it's a solid tool, whatever the name.

A:  Don't know but take it back if you want an exchange...it would be great if the blades were replaceable instead of a sheet stamped product

A:  I would imagine you could find a local welder who could tack the blades back on. This might be quicker than trying to find a kit or blades (odds are the manufacturer would rather you buy a whole new tool than ship you a replacement kit). A skilled welder would also do a better job of welding than the folks at the plant.

Q:One picture shows a person gripping the handles and stretching her hands to reach the plunger on top. What is the purpose of the plunger? How difficult will it be for a person with small hands to reach and how much pressure does it require to operate the plunger?

                    Answer This Question

A:  That photo distorts the usage. The user does not to maintain contact with the handles and stretch to hit the plunger. The user must: 1. Place tool blades, at "weed" end of tool, over both sides of weed. 2. Step down on steel plate to submerge the blades 3. Twist tool using handles 4. Lift tool out of ground 5. Hit plunger to discard "pulled-up weed" from blades
