A:  There are small burgundy arches on the border on the rug

A:  This is more of an apple red. Definitely not burgundy although keep in mind that rugs have a light side and dark side and natural or electrical lighting (depends if more yellow or white) may affect the tones. You can always rotate the rug 180 degrees to see if the tone changes. One other thing to keep in mind that yarn out of the polybag is pressed from factory roll/packaging. Usually it takes a few days to open up to it's natural state as pressed yarn may show a deeper tone vs relaxed yarn after it fully opens.

Keep in mind that monitor settings as well as natural or electrical light play a role in color tones. The black isn't blended with anything else. To one person it may be muted, to another it may be too deep. Black color in general doesn't have lighter or darker tones tones and since this production doesn't have have color blends it is true to itself.
