A:  Home Depot is very good about these types of problems. Either bring what you have back to the store and explain the missing parts or request a return on line. There may be a contact listed in the package regarding missing or replacement parts. Granted it's a bit inconvenient but I'm sure they'll make it right.

A:  Yes, that is exactly why we purchased them

A:  The ceiling plate is only 5.4'' in diameter. You would need to measure your current opening.

A:  This fixture can be mounted on a sloped ceiling and yes it can be shortened to 18 inches.

A:  The tubes that adjust the hanging length are about 10 1/2 inches so you'd probably use 2. The fixture swivels on a hook that attaches to the top so it should work just fine on a sloped ceiling.

A:  I used a 60W equivalent LED bulb.

A:  I use a LED bulb that's a 60 watt equivalent and it provides plenty of light.

A:  Yes. This fixture comes with 12 inch rods that can be removed to shorten the fixture.

A:  Yes, in 10 1/2 inch increments. 3 tubes are provided for adjusting the length of the drop. (I used 1 tube, see picture)

A:  Hello kes, I just measured mine -- it's 5" diameter.

A:  Diameter of the ceiling is about 137mm.

A:  Yes. This fixture can be used with a dimmer.

A:  Yes but that would be determined by the type of bulb so if you use a LED bulb be sure it's dimmable.
