        Q:We use the light with a Leviton DW6HD-1BZ. It works; however there is a small buzz sound that is noticeable when it is quiet. We tried all modes on the dimmer including "LED", but the buzz does not go away. Standard LED light bulbs when used on the same dimmer type generate no buzz. What could be wrong?

        A:  You didn't say where the buzz sound was coming from. I assume from the dimmer switch. If so, I would replace the dimmer - not all dimmers are the same and not all eliminate the hum/buzz.

          A:  Dimmer will make all bulbs buzz or make a slight annoying noise whether it be incandescent, fluorescent or LED. Noise is coming from driver in LED when voltage is turned down by dimmer.

              A:  This trim produces 730 lumens. The LED light is integrated so it cannot be replaced. If you are looking to reduce the amount of light I would recommend installing a dimmer. Lutron or Leviton models are compatible with this trim.
