A:  Hello, I would not recommend for a backsplash. It is wood and would require sealing to maintain the wood. A better option would be tile or something with similar waterproof characteristics.

A:  The image is meant to show the types of finishes that are possible with our panels. The prefinished maple panel here is finished with a clear uv coating which has no color.
