Q:Can you use this as a subfloor under marmoleum?

Answer This Question
A: Would not recommend using the Poplar for flooring. It has a thin decorative Poplar layer that is not intended to be used for a floor. The intended application is for cabinets, built-ins, shelving, etc. It will not warp or delaminate – however the thin Poplar layer is not suited for floor wear.

Q:Is this product a good choice to use as underlayment for a new lvl floor

Answer This Question
A: Hi, I would not recommend for floor applications. The poplar veneer on the panel is thin and not designed to stand up to wear and tear of a floor application. For floor applications the veneer should be thicker.

These are two separate processes, but if you have any question, please email us at hdcts@cfpwood.com and we can confirm your custom cut. Thanks - Michael
