Answer This Question
A: Hi,
This will be approximately 1/42 in thick. We do sand prior to shipping out. You should be okay to sand. I would recommend a light 220 grit sanding.

This item does not contain MDF core. None of the current items have MDF core. Will be working on adding some options with MDF core.

Q:I know this is probably a stupid question but doesn't 2 sided mean the same on both sides? I purchased 2 boxes of this and the sides are different. One is much lighter than the other. I assumed that the sides would be the same.

A: Same problem with the walnut. It looks like the back side is maple or birch, not the same as expected.

A: Hello,
Two sided does mean that it will have the same species of wood on face and back of the panel. We are not able to ensure that color or grain matches. Every tree will be unique in color and grain.

A: I’ve always received boxes with mahogany on both sides, but sometimes the wood on one side looks better than the other side.
