Q:Is this cord good for a snow joe electric snow blower 18 inch, 12 amp?

Answer This Question
A: NO NO NO.. .. ..cord description here plainly states = 10 Amp --- your snow blower requires = 12 Amps__do the math. Never use Under amperage rated power cords for tools / appliances / devices. Equal or greater is best. Pay attention to cord Length as well --- amperage drops when reaching 100' ft. or more. Gauge of extension cord + cord Length all play into Max Amp sustained / capable by the power cord from the direct AC source. Specified outdoor extension cords, can also feature cold & wet weather environment properties for such use as needed !

A: Truthfully I cannot answer your question as I do not have the paperwork that went to the item since I bought it quite a while ago. But if you need a certain amperage I would believe that an appliance extension cord would be the best way to go

A: EASY TO SEE IT.

A: COLOR = means Nothing.. .. ..nothing functional or technical at all. Amp + Length + Grounded (3-prong) -or- Non-grounded (2-prong) specs is sole concern for what serves Best. Some outdoor cords are better suited for colder or wet environments vs others, and are specified as such. Color is a non-essential factor, other than personal choice / price. Popular (high visibility) cords selling now, are even 2-tone in color w/ stripes !
