Q:We have a Porcelain-Enameled Steel Tub in the guest room, will this enclosure work? Does the bottom track require anchoring with screws or is it only adhered with silicone?

Answer This Question
A: Hello,
The bottom track doesn’t require screws nor silicon. The weight of the door keeps it anchored. It does, however, require a minimum 1-3/4” off a flat surface to sit on. If the porcelain tub has a rolled top edge, it might no work.

Q:Some tub / shower doors include explicit instructions for installation with a surround, e.g. how to match a filleted corner by removing material from the bottom edge of the side rails to match the curve of the surround. Is that feasible with this unit? The installation instructions don't mention it, but it looks like it should be possible to round the bottom edge of the side rails to match the curve of the surround.
