      A:  Hello DIY, Glass block is an excellent product for a shower surround. Make sure the construction of the half wall will support the weight of the glass block and that the glass block is secure properly to the side wall for stability. Thank you for your inquiry.             Q:ordered 5 windows I seen that the measurements to order needed to be 1/4 - 1" smaller than rough opening which I did the actual window size does not add up to the speciation's they are 1" shorter on width and 1/2" shorter on the height I have a very large opening to fill in if even possible

            A:  We made a frame in wood around the edges of the window - Found this recommendation online & it made it easier to use this as a replacement window for an old, broken, crank window in our bathroom.
