A: Continued answer. I had problems getting VHF until I added a ClearStream 5 Long Range Hi-VHF. Now I get everything great. My 3rd antenna is an older DB4E that points a different direction. Antennas Direct has been great to work with and helped with everything. These 3 antennas feed into a single COAX via a combiner (just a splitter backwards, also per Antennas Direct) I do have one ClearStream JUICE UHF VHF TV Antenna Preamplifier System. I get about 65 stations all crystal clear.

A: Your gonna need the ClearStream 4MAX UHF VHF antenna along with the ClearStream 4MAX TV Antenna Reflector Kit Assembly. You will also need to get a Channel Master Pro- Pre-Amp CM-7779HD. I would get the Clearstream C4-V-CJM. This antenna has the reflector and you can aim the VHF antenna towards the VHF channel and then aim the rest of the antenna towards your UHF channels. Hope this helps.

A: If I'm not mistaken, Antennas Direct doesn't have any antennas that handle Low-vhf 2-6. Your antenna does do high-vhf 7-13 and UHF. But at your distance, you're probably going to need something like a Channel Master CM-3020 to handle both VHF & UHF

A: Greetings Cindy! Unfortunately, we do not carry a Low-VHF antenna. That would require a very large antenna element. However, if you give us a call at 877-825-5572 we can advise you on ways to improve your reception and receive more channels with the antenna you currently have. We are available 7 days a week to help!

A: Hi Douglas! Thank you for your question. After about 100ft you will start to see some loss of signal. It really all depends on your area and how you have your setup. The less cable you use the better, but there should not be any loss with less than 100ft.

A: Greetings! Yes, it will receive UHF signals from about 40 miles or more depending on terrain and line of sight to the towers. We do have a VHF/UHF Antenna Combiner for added long-range UHF capability. I will attach a link below. https://store.antennasdirect.com/UHF-VHF-Antenna-Combiners.html. If you have any farther questions please chat with us online or reach out by phone at 877-825-5572. We are available 7 days a week to help! Thank you for your question.

Q:I have a clearstream DB4e installed in 2010 and Clearstream 5 installed in in 2012. We have occasionally had intermittent issues with VHF signals. Yesterday, we completely lost all of the VHF channels. We are 60mi from the tv towers. What can I do?

A: Make sure all connections are clean with no corrosion on them and the correct side is pointed at TV stations. Tall trees buildings will effect signal.

A: I'm sorry but I can't help you with this question. The only thing I can say is re-scan your channels. Otherwise ask Antennas Direct. Sorry about this. I know how bad it can be not to get your stations. Good luck.

Q:I currently have the 4max mounted on my roof. My UHF stations are west and the VHF are east. Is it possible to install the 5 VHF in place of the 4max dipole and point them in opposing directions, connecting the 5 VHF into the 4max rather than the dipole?

Q:Have DB8. Want to pick up channel 9, 32.5 miles away, on shared tower with channel 32, which comes in well, most of the time.
So if I add ClearStream5 on separate mast, how far away should it be from DB8?
Or do you recommend just replacing DB8?

A: Please contact our support team @ 877-825-5572. We'll need to run a signal analysis to see what you are working with as far as signal availability goes. The DB8-e is primarily a UHF antenna, the Clearstream 5 a VHF antenna. Thanks!
