    Q:These are paper? I mean can they hold up? How easily torn? though maybe a moot point since they aren't in stock. i love how the Jamaican gold and the shade looks. but am concerned they are really cheap and won't last. Help, tell me a different story.

    A:  Vicki, I too had to wait as they were on back order. I would best describe the "fabric" as a type of grass cloth. Sturdy enough for my usage. It doesn't peel or rip. I have them over plantation blinds. Use the grip/handle to raise/lower and make adjustments. When lowered to my desired level they block the sun and glare well, even though I have my blinds open in the attached photos.

      Q:I will be mounting these inside my window but i have no wall area to mount them inside b/c of size of my window. Can these be mounted on top (the ceiling of the window sill, if you will, don't know how else to explain)? Thank you
