A:  The deep dish sits on top of the 2-burner models, but product labeling indicates that it can replace a grate in the larger (+3-burner) Char-Broil models. I use it to grill vegetables, shrimp and seafood. Seasoning (with olive oil) is a good idea, IMO. Enjoy!
