Q:The online info refers to the parallel kit being used while generators are stacked. I'd like to use the parallel kit with units side by side in bed of truck, not vertically stacked. Will it work in that configuration?

Answer This Question
A: You have the option to run the generators side by side, they do not have to be stacked at all time. This can only be done if you have the correct parallel kit and generators that are compatible with each other. A: I doubt it as the connectors on the wires from the parallel bar which go to each individual generator appear to be specific to the Champion 2000 watt units.

Q:Will this work to parallel a 73535i and a 100478

Answer This Question
A: The model 100478 and the model 73535i do not use the same parallel system. The newer models use the ParaLink system which is a black and red square connection on the panel. The 73535i uses our previous parallel system that requires two round connections to the panel as well as a third communication wire. Answer This Question
A: A 15A air compressor will draw 1,800 watts when running at 120V. However, when you go to start this air compressor, it typically takes 3 times this amount to start an inductive load. Especially on an air compressor that may have head pressure. Therefore we recommend you use nothing less than a 5,500 watt generator to start such a load.
