A:  A fuse is not required. At full load this winch will draw over 230A at 12VDC. If you use a fuse smaller than this, you will limit the capacity of the winch.

A:  The winch itself comes with a flat mounting plate. If you have a flat surface on the vehicle you can mount the winch as is. If not, you will need to contact a third party winch mount manufacturer such as KFI Products. We use industry standard winch sizes and bolt patterns making finding a compatible fit straightforward. A:  The winch comes with a flat universal mounting plate. If you have a flat surface on the vehicle, it can be mounted here. If not, you may need a vehicle specific winch mounting kit. A:  This would be a 6 gauge wire used for this winch.

A:  The drum will not be able to accommodate so much cable, sorry. The cable would exceed the available space and likely break the tie bars holding the winch together.

A:  This winch comes with a wired switch. You can purchase a wireless remote from us. Our wireless winch kit is Champion model 18029.

A:  Not remote, but I suspect that one could buy a remote kit and attach it to the wiring.

A:  Yes, the winch will power in and power out.
