A:  I measured my grill then looked online and found this at home depot. I took a chance and ordered it as I need to cover my air vents during the winter. Temps get to minus 5 here. It arrived an fit perfectly.

A:  This cover is for a window mount cooler. It fits over the grille. I bought it for mine, but didn't fit. If what I think you mean by ceiling vent, you need an inside cover for a Downdraft swamp cooler, that is on the roof.
