    A:  Tim - The CWPIR would just be the driveway sensor. The CWA2000 would include the base station.

        Q:Home Depot sells two add-on sensors for this unit, just a couple of dollars difference in price. How do I know which one I'll need?

        A:  Hello Chuck. I see the item connected to this question is a model CWPIR. This add-on sensor is the only sensor that is compatible as an add-on to our model CWA2000 Wireless Motion Alert System and would be the one that you need. If the other sensor you found is a different part number, it is not compatible.

          A:  Hello Frenger - The base station that this sensor is compatible to is the CWA2000. I have included a link to the base station so you can see if it matches yours.             A:  Hello Happy, and thank you for your question. Yes, this sensor is compatible with the CWA2000 base station. One base station can have up to 4 sensors programmed, and the alarm tones that it produces will indicate which sensor has detected motion.
