As an electrician, we use this all the time for HDMI, speaker, data, and other cables. TV power cord might be a little tight depending on the size and shape of the cord end. 1-1/4" would be a safer bet, but is more difficult to work with if you're fishing it into an existing wall.

A:  No, even though it is flexible in length it is not flexible in Diameter. You will need to make the hole slightly larger than 1.315 to move this coil through it.
