Q:Can you tell us what can be added to determine the exact pressure in PSI coming out of the unit? Also what type of oil and weight should be used?

Answer This Question
A: The PW4070 engine uses 10W30 oil. Mobile One full synthetic is recommended. You would need to add a t-fitting at the outlet of the pump and the hose then put a gauge in the t-fitting to get an exact pressure reading in PSI.

Answer This Question
A: Yes you need to purchase a good quality four cycle motor oil ahead of time. It uses a little less than a quart of 10w-30.. Standard or synthetic, either is fine. I also suggest you get a small funnel..

A: The engine oil for the PW4070 pressure washer does not come with the washer. It would need to be purchased separately from the engine manufacturer.

Q:Is the output pressure adjustable
by|Sep 9, 2014
1 Answer
Answer This Question
A: The output pressure is adjustable by two means. It comes with 5 quick connect spray tips which adjusts the spray fan angle and there is spray adjustment knob on the pump which allows you to increase/decrease the pressure. There is no means on the pressure washer to determine the exact pressure in PSI coming out of the unit.
