A: Your best bet would be to contact the manufacturer of your paint to see what they recommend for preferred methods for applying acrylic glass paint. One concern when using any type of standard spray gun would be overspray.

Answer This Question
A: The suggestion for a dryer is to remove moisture/water from your lines so that you don't get water in your paint. If you are using an oil/water separator, that should suffice. You may want to test it on a practice surface to make sure it is properly filtering the water out.

Answer This Question
A: The DH3800 gun is typically used spraying at waist level or below so the tube will face forward. If you anticipate spraying in an overhead fashion a gravity feed gun would be best.

A: The pick up tube faces forward. It sprays down and straight out quite well. I have not yet tried it up.

Answer This Question
A: Yes, it will spray exterior latex just fine. I used Behr Stucco paint thinned slightly with water at 50 psi of air pressure. The stucco looks beautiful. It creates a nice gentle spray with very little over spray.

A: The nozzle size for the DH3800 is 1.25" which would be too small for latex. Refer to information that comes with paint from manufacturer for recommended nozzle sizes to use.
