A:  Metal pin

A:  A pin that slides through holes up at the top, which you remove again when you want to collapse the umbrella. Pin is attached to the umbrella so you don’t lose it.

A:  There is a small long metal pin that slides into a hole in the pole. It is tied to a rope that opens umbrella when you pull on it.

A:  There are holes drilled through the wood pole up at the top, and a pin that you push thru the holes. The pin keeps the umbrella from closing. You just pull the pin back out when you want to collapse the umbrella.

A:  This umbrella is kept up by a base.

A:  Pull the rope until the umbrella is open and insert the pin into a pre drilled hole in the top of the center post.

A:  Metal Pin, connected to a rope pulley system for raising and lowering umbrella. The metal pin prevents the umbrella collar from sliding down the umbrella's center pole.

A:  There is a metal pin at the end of the rope which pulls the umbrella up into position. The pin inserts through a hole in the pole stopping any downward motion.
