A:  We do not offer instructions with this umbrella as the only assembly required is the insertion of the bottom pole into the upper frame. This umbrella opens by turning the crank mechanism, and it tilts by pushing a button on the upper pole.

A:  I DONT THINK A BASE WOULD SUPPORT IT.THE UMBRELLA IS VERY HEAVY.I USED THE BASE AND A TABLE.THAT WORKED PERFECTLY.

A:  We recommend using a base that is at least 50 lbs. with this umbrella, such as our CFMT160 base.
