Answer This Question
A: We offer several suggestions and tips for promoting the longevity of your umbrella. A 11' umbrella should always be used with a base that is at least 75 lbs., although we recommend more weight in windier areas. The umbrella should always be closed when not in use, and we recommend storing the umbrella indoors if the umbrella will not be used for a prolonged period of time, or if adverse weather is expected. For additional protection, a separate protective canopy should be used over the umbrella whenever it is closed; this prevents the canopy from fading and protects the center components of the umbrella.
