A:  Hi Morgan and thank you for your question. You can wire two of the Com-Pak 2000 watt, 240 volt heaters on one 30 amp circuit using 10/2 wire with ground.

                Answer This Question

A:  Another alternative, when adding a wall thermostat, is to simply turn the dial all the way up as far as it will turn. Then control the heater with the wall thermostat.

                by|May 2, 2023

A:  These heaters come with a built-in thermostat, but they can also be used with a wall thermostat. If you buy the complete unit you can remove the existing thermostat so the heater is controlled by the wall thermostat.

A:  No Hi Low Yes, can be mounted on 2x4 wall

                by|May 3, 2023

A:  No, it is a single heat output unit controlled only by the on/off action of the built-in thermostat. Yes, it fits in a 2x4 studded wall.

                by|May 2, 2023

A:  Hi and thanks so much for asking! The answer is yes to both questions. For the high/low switch, the unit comes equipped with a built-in thermostat. The temperature range is 40 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit, and the thermostat controls the amount of time the unit is operating to reach your desired temperature. If the knob is turned counterclockwise to its lowest position, the thermostat will keep your room within about 5 degrees of the 40 degree low setting. And the Com-Pak Plus style heaters are made to install into a 2x4 stud wall. We've included a link to an installation video that walks you through the installation. This particular model mounts to one side of the stud cavity. Thanks again for asking!
