        Answer This Question

A:  Yes, just have to ask for the proper sealer/primer to put on first. There are a lot of good sealers that adhere to just about everything, even glass. Once you apply the proper sealer then you can apply the INSL-X

        by|Dec 10, 2018

A:  I believe this will. When first applied, looks streaky and will need 2nd coat but should cover nicely. Takes a little time to dry as well. Not quick like normal paint. I used it on dark dark walnut cabinets and they can out great! It doesn't chip either. I would recommend.

        by|Jan 16, 2019

A:  I don't think I would use it on metal of any kind. I used it on my bathroom vanity. It looked great. I redid it about a year ago. Now it is coming off in different spots. I will have to redo it again. If I was you I would check around for something different to use that would work on metal. A spray paint would do the job but you would want to take the cabinet off the wall and do it outside.

          by|Dec 9, 2018

A:  I have no experience with painting anodized aluminum. I suggest you seek and aluminum primer before applying any paint or coating.

          by|Dec 9, 2018

A:  Yes, this paint can be used on the interior of a medicine cabinet.

A:  You might ask your local Home Depot paint dept. It does come in different colors. Type it in your computer and it will bring up a color chart that shows the colors.

A:  check with your home depot and they can tell you and if they can they can tell you the colors

            by|Oct 22, 2018

              A:  Yes you can.

              by|Oct 24, 2018

A:  We had it tinted at Home Depot. Had to choose a color that used a certain base. Came out fine.

A:  Yes u will need to take it back to store

                  by|Oct 24, 2018

A:  Yes you can tint the paint, but HD was not willing to do it for some reason, I took the paint to paint store and they tinted it for me. Make sure your primer is good and close to your tinted color or you will have to put on a lot of coats, this stuff is best sprayed on.

A:  You could, but you likely wouldn't need to and nowhere in the instructions is it recommended. My experience points to; if you need to touch up anything later in time, it would be noticeable. Hope this helps and happy painting!

A:  Howdy tee, Without knowing what the "look that your looking for" it is difficult to know. You can paint latex over oil based paint. With this in mind, you most likely can do alot of different types of glazes. happy glazing, Coach Dave

A:  Yes you could if you are going for a shinier look but you shouldn't have to as it already has a protective sheen to it

A:  Yes. Be sure to sand each coat with a very fine grit and make sure it is completely clean before applying the next coat. (I also suggest letting the final coat dry overnight before adding the finish.) I then used General Finishes High Performance Water Based Top Coat which is a polyurethane product. I applied it with a foam paint brush, sanded the first coat, applied another and sanded it again. My cabinets look great.

A:  Yes, can be tinted. We hired a painting contractor who specializes in painting kitchen cabinets, and this is the product he uses. He said that we could tint to any color, and we went with navy.
