A:  Yes, it can be installed to open from either side. You could also set it up to open in. The problem with opening in would be that it could be less water tight. Note: I own one of these doors. I am not a shower door expert.

A:  Thank you for your interest in the Cove shower door. The clearance requirement will vary based on adjustment of the pivot point. It could be anywhere between 21" and 23 1/2" .
