A:  We would not recommend the Buyers Products 18 in. x 19 in. x 36 in. Matte Black Plastic Trail Tongue Tool Box as storage for a propane tank or any type of flammable unit. Yes, a hole could be cut into the inner liner, however this would harm the integrity of the box and be void to any warranty claims.

A:  Buyers Products Matte Black Plastic Trailer Tongue Truck can be installed by drilling the toolbox in at least 4 locations in the box, holes should be minimum 3/8". Use steel or stainless hardware to secure the toolbox to the desired location, ensuring the structure is solid and will bear the weight of the box plus contents. Use bolts, nylon lock nuts, and fender washers to secure to box. The fender washers should be placed inside of the box to help secure.

A:  use rivnuts to mount this.Don't drill screws straight into your frame unless you want them to come loose.Do it right the first time and use rivnuts,screws and washers with silicone on the bottom to keep water out.

A:  I used large wood screws with rubber washers. It did great.

A:  i placed it on my trailer and marked 4 holes . used HSS drill bit and bolted it thru frame after drilling holes thru my trailer frame

A:  #12 self tapping screws with large washers drilled through the bottom of the box into the trailer rails. I used 3 on on each rail.
