A:  Thank you for your interest in Builders Edge. These are hollow decorative shutters if you cut them it voids the warranty. You can special order 9.25" wide shutter in the store.

          A:  12" shutters are not a stock size. Your local Home Depot may stock our standard 15" (14.75). You will want to call your local store first and ask to speak to the Millwork Department. If you order on HomeDepot.com and you do not like the shutters for any reason they can be returned as long as they are in new / not used condition.

            A:  The option that you are looking at is our paintable option color code 030 which must be painted. This model shutter in this size 12x80 is available in other color options that are not paintable.
