A:  Thank you for your interest in Builders Edge. All of our color molded shutter have a UV protectant in them and paint will not adhere properly to the shutter and will peel and flake.

A:  Our house has custom rounded vinyl siding so we couldn't use the clips. I guess it depends on what kind of siding you have.

A:  Yes I installed with shutter looks, this way will be more security when is windy like winter times

A:  I'm not sure what shutter clips are - but we just put them up with hex screws (with the heads painted black to match).

A:  We put ours up with nothing but black spray painted hex screws - easy install. Be aware they are simply plastic (?) - but the light weight makes them a no brainer to put up.

A:  Thank you for your interest in Builders Edge. The size of the mold these are fabricated in is 12" x 59", because the nature of the product is will contract and expand with the cold and heat.

A:  I think everyone believes you want them in the color Orange - but you are asking if available at the store in the city of Orange, right? Apparently some colors may be - enter your store location when searching and the website will tell you if an item is in stock at that store - I don't find it very accurate for low numbers (ie: 3 in stock may mean none or nobody can locate them - but if says 14 in stock I just keep looking) - may also tell you the aisle to look in at that store.

A:  Thank you for your interest in Builders Edge. We do not offer an Home Depot orange color shutter, but you can order a paintable shutter and paint it that color. If you paint a color molded shutter i.e. a white shutter it will void the warranty.

A:  The box mine came in (color: #002 Black) had a large note printed on it that says these are NOT paintable.
