A:  They cannot be reversed. When placing the order you must specify lefthand or righthand inswing according to what you need.

A:  They are wood jambs, but I don't believe they are knotty alder. They are more likely a pine jamb.

A:  Yes. I ordered the pre hung and they came with knotty alder jambs, very nice look

A:  They come with wood jambs, but they stain more like a pine than knotty alder and there aren't any knots or major graining in them.

A:  To the best of my knowledge this door comes in a variety of standard sizes. I am not sure if they can be ordered in custom sizes although custom options can be applied at the special order desk.
